Indulge in the Dining Room:
Let’s start our tour in the foyer where we are greeted with soaring ceilings, thick wooden beams, and amazing views of the blue ridge mountains and lake below. To your left is the formal dining room where the table is set for a harvest supper at six. The table is ready for the festivities with natural boxwood wreaths framing out two sparkling candelabra and a rustic tray full of birch candles.
Relax in the main living room:
Once we’ve passed through the dining room it is time to relax by the hearth in the main living room and snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate. The warm, rustic hearth is set in stone with a natural wood mantlepiece. For the holidays is it covered in a faux pine and magnolia leaf garland and covered in twinkling lights. An oversized silver reindeer anchors the hearth and adds a touch of whimsy to the space. The warm, holiday look is carried through the room onto the coffee table where a simple, golden tree tray and two silver candle holders add warmth and style to the room.
Snuggle up in the bedroom:
If you are tired from your long drive up the mountain, feel free to take a quick rest in this warm and welcoming bedroom. The festive spirit carries on throughout this room as well with a beautifully decorated mantle. Regal nutcrackers and bejeweled trees add height to the ends of the mantle, while a lush garland and red mercury glass ornaments complete the center.
Once you are rested up, it’s time to head downstairs to the family and game room. This is where friends and family come to gather around the Christmas tree, shoot some pool, and sip some spiced eggnog. This room is complete with its own fireplace for singing Christmas carols in front of a warm fire. The decor downstairs is playful and rustic with woodland deer keeping company with brightly colored, lit packages. A rich looking red and gold Christmas tree centers the room and leaves plenty of room for packages!
